I've always thought that some of the best parts of loving someone are the little things. The unexpected touch, a smile that says I know what you're thinking, or that glance across a crowded room that reminds you there's someone there who only has eyes for you.

Those are the moments that inspired Lovin' Me Right.

It's not about extravagant gifts or sweeping romantic gestures. It's about the everyday ways two people let each other know they're loved, appreciated and understood.

I wrote the song from a woman's perspective, and Retta Raines brings it to life with a warm, affectionate performance.
